The 2005 Pinot Noir Rosella's Vineyard (405 cases) exhibits Allspice, clove, and cinnamon characteristics interwoven with sweet blackberry and cherry fruit. Medium to full-bodied with terrific richness, super purity, a forest floor/earthy/Cote de Nuits-like complexity, and a broad, expansive background to the long finish, it can be enjoyed over the next 7-8 years. This brilliant Pinot Noir is among the finest produced in California.

Sadly the last bottle. Fully mature, well balanced, long finish with nose of red fruits and spice.

This has the classic roar nose of cherry/cranberry/orange rind and spice but the palate is primary and too fruity on day 1. On day 2 this is beautiful...beautiful smokey cherry with some earthy notes and a long succulent finish. Lost nothing on day 3. May have to source morre of this.
