($45) Good full ruby. Briary dark raspberry, plum syrup, mocha, dried sage and white pepper on the aromatic nose. Big and lush yet fairly suave for zinfandel, with briary dark fruit and spice flavors and a fleshy, pliant texture. This one benefits from an excellent acid/tannin backbone.

Dense and powerful, yet wonderfully rich, supple and well-structured at the core. Offers aromas of blackberry, fresh loamy earth and smoky toast, with ripe yet focused wild berry, mocha-espresso and white pepper flavors.

This one is really tasting great right now. Not overwhelming spice but good volume and berry flavors.
