As is typical of Poruzots, this won't win any awards for elegance or refinement but the explosive finish and sheer intensity will have its fans.

Ripe, sexy aromas of apple and pear. Supple, pure and concentrated, with fruit-driven flavors of peach, apple and pear. The wine's power and thrust are partly hidden by its sugar/acid balance. Finishes with noteworthy length. The crop level here was a very reasonable 35 hectoliters per hectare, according to Jobard.
