($88; bottled on the morning of my visit) Pretty aromas of peach and flowers. Supple and suave if a bit youthfully tight, with good acid lift framing the flavors of lime, minerals, crushed stone and flowers. This shows noteworthy power and length for village wine.

High pitched fruity, minerally aromas--my nose was ringing! Crisp acidity on the palate, with apple and lemon. Awesome.

About This Producer

"If the blessed slopes of the Cote d'Or are home to the ultimate expression of Chardonnay, then Anne-Claude Leflaive could be regarded as the magician, some might use the word "shaman", who can conjure wine like no other from this propitious terroir." - Neal Martin, The Wine Advocate
