Wine Spectator Author: Harvey Steiman

Manages to be dense and elegant at the same time, playing its dark plum, fresh fig and spice flavors against superslick tannins, letting it all expand beautifully on the long, expressive finish.

Fabulous bottle of wine. Deep dark ruby red, nose of huge red and blueberries, thick delicious wine wonderful really long finish.

I thought this wine was slightly more one dimensional than the others. Less of a nose but many of the same characteristics -- blackberry, sweet dark pitted fruits, and a kiss of vanilla. The flavor was probably the best integrated of the entire flight, but lighter with less layers. Silky smooth. There was an interesting spice on the finish. Couldn't place this but my initial thought was coriander seed. Finish was incredibly smooth. My number 3 WOTN but the group's WOTN.

Soft Tanins. Inky in color. Slow legs. Cedar. Gooseberry, Garrigue. Long finish. Silky, fleshy, texture. Full bodied.

Opaque color. Cedar and alcohol on the nose and palate are the first impressions. After two hours of air, the dark fruit, vanilla candy and spice comes through. Drink now as it will not likely get any better.
