Pale, bright yellow. Complex aromas of pineapple, grapefruit, hazelnut, nutmeg and minerals. Ripe, clean and quite dry, with good fat but not quite the flavor intensity of the winery's best 2004s. Perhaps the supplest and fattest of these 2004s.

The 2004 Chardonnay Mon Plaisir reveals a light green-hued straw color, wonderful crisp, orange rind, lemon oil, white peach, wood, and smoke characteristics, medium to full body, and 4-5 years of drinkability.
