This wine exhibits a rich, creamy-textured mix of currant, herb, mineral, sage and cedary tobacco notes, keeping a tight focus and ending with a long, layered finish and firm, ripe tannins.

Corra signals a major evolution for Celia Masyczek. After 10 vintages of making wine for clients, it is the first wine under her label. Harvested from Westside vineyard sites, it creates an indelible expression of her enormous talent and proudly carries her signature on the back label. It represents the pinnacle of her work to date with this vintage. This wine is limited 2 bottles per client.

Very dark in color, showing aromas of black cherry, cedar, blackberry, mocha, blue plum followed by smoke-kissed currant, brilliant blueberry and chocolate brownie. The palate is intensely focused black currant, plum and blackberry tart. It shows a beautifully interwoven dexterity of flavors. Quite simply, this is a masterpiece.

Wonderful rich wine. Plenty of fruit and nice balance.

A nice bottle of wine, but fairly standard for this class of cali cabernet. Plush, great fruit and flavor, but not really special or unique. I love this kind of wine, but it's getting to be a crowded field.

Traditional Celia mid palate action. Could benefit from additional time in the bottle. Long finish.

Luscious dark red fruits/ Inky purple with crisp clarity. Almost brilliance. Lighter than expected body due to silkiness. Biting acidity with some sharp, high-strung tannins that need more time to mellow (decanted 2 hours prior). Very tightly wound fruity beast felt like it was about to erupt. Really softened up after more time in the glass. Once the tannins loosened, the fruit really shinned. Luscious and soft, with modest oak. Still way to early, this shouldn't be visited again until at least 2010 or later
