Site Blog: St. Henry Brewery - brewing 'til the bitter end!
The alcohol was noticeable but should improve with age or decanting. Nice but somewhat closed nose of strawberry, blueberry, cedar and vanilla. Initial silky smooth mouthfeel with intense berry and leather. Medium to high acidity makes for a great wine to drink while chomping on dead animal parts. The dark fruit finish is long and slowly releases hints of smoke and tar.
