(bottled at 14.0%) Lovely and expressive soft red pinot and ripe cherry fruit aromas that possess subtle undertones of sandalwood and spice combine with forward, soft, suave and velvety middle weight flavors that offer good if not special intensity and solid persistence. There is a trace of warmth on the moderately long finish and this is already sufficiently forward that it could be approached now though it should reward 4 to 6 years of cellar time.

Much better than the last bottle. Floral with red berries on the nose. Flavors of red raspberry, wild strawberry and candied red cherry with notes of dried rose petals. Tannins almost fully integrated. Soft on the palate still with good freshness. Nice rounded, lingering finish.
