Slightly hazy yellow. Pungent aromas of stone fruits, hazelnut and baking spices, with a suggestion of dried fruits. Sweet, fat, seamless and suave, with deep flavors of nectarine and pineapple. As lush and richly fruity as this is, it finishes with good spine and slightly edgy acidity.

There are 1,000 cases of the 2003 Chardonnay Mon Plaisir, which offers a lovely tropical fruit and hazelnut-scented bouquet as well as broad, lush, concentrated flavors. This beautiful effort, which sees about 60% new French oak, should drink well for 4-5 years.
