The 2003 Pinot Noir 7 Mules Vineyard is an elegant, low-key, restrained, feminine, shy style of Pinot Noir, especially compared to the Reserve. The wine exhibits nice pomegranate and currant notes, a somewhat understated personality, and a clean, crisp finish. This wine is similar to a Cote de Beaune and probably best drunk over the next 4-5 years.

Plump, ripe and fleshy, with generous plum, black cherry and wild berry fruit that flirts (in a pleasing way) with a touch of jam. Ends with spicy notes and firm tannins that have a touch of chalkiness. 550 cases made.
