The top-flight 2003 Chardonnay River Block exhibits a big, sweet nose of honeyed pears, wet stones, orange blossoms, and tropical fruits. A full-bodied, beautifully intense, strikingly well-delineated offering, it should provide plenty of pleasure over the next 5-6 years.
