The 2003 Cinq Cepages is less impressive than either the 2002 or 2001. It is spicy, medium-bodied, and shows good ripe olive, herb, black cherry, and currant notes, soft tannins, and some flesh and succulence in a very good, but easygoing finish. This is usually more complex, richer, and deeper, but it is certainly excellent wine.
