The 2003 Chardonnay Quarry Vineyard exhibits gorgeous aromas of white peaches, orange marmalade, brioche, and flinty stones. With a fine texture, full-bodied opulence, and great underlying acidity and freshness, this is a superb Chardonnay to drink over the next 4-8 years.

Slightly cloudy medium to light gold color with green tinges. Rather tight in the nose with some soap, lemon liqueur, toast, and vanilla spice nuances. Smooth with lots of sweet toasty oak and a good but not great level of fruit concentration. It really needs short term cellaring to shine but all of the components are there for greatness.
