The expressive nose reveals focused and nicely detailed black fruit cut with noticeable earth notes. The medium weight, pungent, rich and velvety flavors are quite soft and the finish is fat and seems almost low acid in character, especially compared to the Combottes though there is more power and weight here.

A walk on the wild side, with game, cherry and mineral notes in a very tight, unyielding profile, all wrapped in a sweet, silky texture. Intensity and underlying energy develop in waves. Give it time. Best from 2010 through 2022. 35 cases imported.
