The 2002 Chardonnay Estate is a good introduction to the Rochioli style. It offers classic Russian River tropical fruit characteristics intertwined with smoke, hazelnut, and racy acidity. A finely etched Chardonnay with both elegance and power, it should be drunk over the next 2-3 years.
