The 2002 Trilogy has a touch of Petit Verdot added. It comes across as an elegant Napa version of a St.-Emilion. Displaying notes of dried herbs intermixed with fruitcake, spice box, red and black currants, as well as a notion of toasty oak, the wine is medium to full-bodied, measured, elegant, and French-like in style. It is not a blockbuster or over-the-top style of wine by any means, but one of restraint and elegance.

Tightly focused on a rich, vibrant beam of blackberry, wild berry and black cherry, this wine is intense and concentrated, finishing with firm, ripe tannins and a long, intricate aftertaste. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec.
