Lots of rich, creamy oak and a tasty core of ripe currant, plum and black cherry fruit combine to form this notably complex and concentrated young wine. Delicious from start to finish, with a long, fruity aftertaste and fine-grained tannins. 29,980 cases made.

DEEP DARK RUBY RED, NOSE OF CHERRIES AND BLACKBERRIES, BIG TANNINS THAT SOFTEN AS THE WINE AERATES, WITH A LONG SATISFYING FINISH. DRINKING VERY WELL NOW.

Wow, this is very good cabernet, so nice balance betwween finesse and rich cherry and currant flavors! Definetely its in prime, so start to open bottles!! Its youthful as a 5year cabernet instead of 9yrs old. A beauty, better than preiviously tasted in 2008.

I drank this bottle during the School Auction dinner at Ruby Hill. Very nice although it needed about 20 minutes to breath. Early on the wine had a slight green bell pepper flavor upfront. This went away and the wine had a nice balance of fruit and oak. It was Smooth as silk! I will give the wine a couple more years as the body and color were in real good shape.

Deep purple color with a complex nose of mild oak, herbs,dark fruit, and pipe tobacco. Full bodied but yet smooth on the palate with balanced tannins, and more dark fruit and integrated spice. Long lasting finish. Excellent wine from start to finish.
