Gentle for this appellation, nonetheless revealing density, with plenty of sweet oak spice surrounding a core of black cherry and licorice flavors. Builds and builds on the palate to an expansive, oak-tinged finish. 770 cases imported.

Clear ruby color. Fine sample of Dominique Laurent with some elegance. Like Clos des Lambray, I feeel a lot of minerality, fruit and "umami". But no 200% cask ;-) Yes, his wines now have elegance. A few years later, this will be more fine wine, I believe. I really like this.
