An extremely ripe, deeply spicy and exuberant nose marries beautifully with concentrated, ample, powerful flavors that are blessed with excellent depth and solid underlying acid support. Quite lovely and this finishes with sneaky persistence.

($116) Deep, bright red. Perfumed aromas of cherry and rose petal. Juicy, floral and fine, with the perfumed character carrying through in the mouth. A rather delicately styled, precise but penetrating wine that's ultimately quite pliant, even if it merits four or five years of cellaring.

Ripe and elegant, full-bodied and juicy, this succulent, racy red Burgundy has plenty of toasted oak and a dark color, and is packed with blackberries. Medium-bodied, it turns a bit crisp on the finish, but it's still satisfying.
