The deep ruby-colored 2001 Pinot Noir (2,044 cases) displays a spectacularly complex, sweet, expansive bouquet of damp earth, autumn leaves, smoke, sweet berries, and a hint of roasted meats. Medium to full-bodied, layered, and complex, it is a total hedonistic as well as intellectual turn-on.
