An ultimate expression of classic Brunello. Ruby red. Ripe, mature red cherry accented with tobacco and leather attracts the nose. A solid progression of dried cherry, licorice, forest herb and dusty tannins lurk about the very tightly wound central core of dark fruit. Medium-bodied with full, chewy tannins and a plummy, slightly spicy finish. Needs time to reveal its full potential.
