The most evolved, the 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve, appears to be close to full maturity, although it is capable of lasting another 10-15+ years. The creamier of these two wines, it reveals abundant black currant, cedar, licorice, graphite and inky characteristics, medium to full body and a ripe, opulent, spicy personality. To reiterate, it is ideal for drinking now and over the next 10-15+ years.

Last bottle of the case. This one says it's past its prime. Decanted for nearly 4 hours and I think that it was too long. The nose upon decanting was fabulous. When it came time for dinner and drinking the nose had lost some of its richness and the finish left an imperfect aftertaste. I'd suggest that if you have this in your cellar, that it's time to drink up. Great stuff in its prime.
