($130) Red-ruby. Highly nuanced nose combines black cherry, gunflint, licorice, mocha, coffee, game and fresh herbs. Sappy, bright and very concentrated, with sweet, urgent fruit and torrefaction flavors. Thoroughly ripe and pliant grand cru, finishing with sweet tannins and slow-building length.
