Bright ruby. Superripe aromas of black raspberry, violet, maple syrup and sweet oak. Pliant and sweet in the mouth; dark berry flavors complicated by notes of violet, licorice and mint. Finishes with firm, building tannins that are dusty but not dry. Showing well today.

Finally this wine has aged and turned into a lovely St Emilion,
good fruit/tannin/acid balance. My only reservation is that this wine was frier than any other ST Emilion I've ever tasted.

Opaque, dense, rich, full bodied and sweet berry aromas. Not a typical Bordeaux in my view, very interesting though.

A nice wine. Medium bodied with subtle flavors and a long finish. Not the flashy, fruity ripeness that is so common now.
