The brilliant 1999 Palomero reveals the same aromatic profile as the 2000, along with wonderful sweetness, expansiveness, uplift, and length. Despite being a year older, it appears less evolved than the 2000.

Medium to full-bodied. Ripe dark berry and creme de cassis framed by notes of mesquite, bacon and leather. Sweet tannins yet still retain grip on the finish. Good now but will get better with time.
