The 1999 Affinity Proprietary Red, a Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, etc., exhibits a dense ruby color as well as subtle notes of wood, lead pencil shavings, new saddle leather, black currants, and minerals. It is a spicy, medium-bodied, graceful, elegant, surprisingly forward 1999.

Offers a wonderful sense of harmony and finesse, with complex cedar, currant, mocha, black cherry and spice flavors, turning smooth and polished. Sufficient tannins to merit short-term cellaring, but enough suppleness to enjoy now. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc.
