Smooth, rich and polished, with a tasty array of currant, anise, plum and blackberry fruit that's sharply focused, with pretty, toasty oak nuances adding depth and dimenison on the finish. 17,000 cases made.

With the Vonderach's had a few wines, one was the 1999 Caymus Napa. It needed 30 minutes to Breath before it tasted the way we liked it. The Green Bell Pepper flavor was at first a little tough to bear but went away after the breathing. The Color and body are excellent, good fruit flavors and slight Oak. Very enoyable!
