($150; 100% cabernet sauvignon, from a vineyard near Lake Hennessey, across from Bryant Family Vineyard) Red-ruby. Superripe aromas of black plum, truffle and game, with an herbal complexity. Sweet and concentrated but tightly wound, with lovely harmonious acidity giving the rather imploded roast plum and hot rock flavors a juicy quality. Finishes with very suave tannins.

A tremendous Cabernet. Dark, rich and voluptuous, with layers of supple blackberry, plum, currant and spice. Fairly coats the palate with ripe, rich tannins, offering hints of cedar, olive and herb. 225 cases made.

What a big, beautiful wine!!
Lush and fruity on the palate. Still had some tannins that would benefit from some more time laying down. Drank this over the course of the night and it only got better with time!!! Drink now or leave it be for a few more years.
