Lovely aromas of crushed raspberries with hints of minerals and licorice. Medium-bodied, with fine tannins and a pretty berry aftertaste. A solid second wine from one of the producers of the vintage, L'Eglise Clinet.

About This Producer

This is a tiny estate that is often overlooked. The blend typically reflects a blend of 70%-80% Merlot and 20%-30% Cabernet Franc. The average age of the vines (55-65 years old) is one of the factors that make the wines from this chateau so admirable. They start out as juicy, concentrated and lush, and with time, become the personified elegance for which Pomerol has become famous.
