Fresh, floral, red fruit aromas seem livelier than those of the '97 Perrot-Minot Mazoyeres-Chambertin. Rich, dense and pliant, with a faint gamey nuance and good density. Finishes with very good length and supple, sweet tannins. Along with the Chambolle-Musigny Combe d'Orveau, this is the Perrot-Minot '97 that most clearly communicates its soil.
