Deep ruby, even darker than the Brulees. Brooding mineral, licorice and floral aromas; as in some past vintages, rather Richebourg-like. Wonderfully silky and sweet, with dynamic fruit complicated by floral and mineral elements. Powerfully structured for the vintage. Really explosive on the aftertaste. Has everything, and already displays great personality.

This dark-colored wine is a cut above. Profound aromas of intensely sweet cherries, raspberries, stones, and earth give way to a full-bodied, extremely feminine, and massively ripe and vibrant core of roses, cherries, and candied blueberries. This silky-textured, hedonistic (yet wonderfully structured), and focused wine ends on an incredibly long and detailed finish.

Magnificent. Opulent and decadent, thick and ripe, yet remains very elegant and racy. A bit savage, with plenty of wild berry, dried herbs and currant aromas and flavors married to the deftly toasted oak accents. Balanced, full-bodied, with a long, silky finish.
