Ruby-red. Pomerol-like aromas of black raspberry, blackberry, chocolate, tobacco and meat. Pliant and mouthfilling, with soft, layered fruit and a note of leather. Finishes with light, dusty tannins. Good plump merlot, but like the above, this lacks a bit of verve.
