Dark red-ruby. Dusty, cedary aromas of currant, roasted plum, smoke and tobacco. Pliant and juicy in the mouth, with slightly autumnal redcurrant, tobacco and plum flavors. A drier-styled but rather sophisticated wine. Finishes with firm but even tannins and very good length.

Tight and complex, with layers of spicy currant, earth, cedar, toast and anise. Firms up on the finish, with crisp acidity and mineral notes. 4,000 cases made.

Wonderful, nuanced, bordeaux-like wine. Not thin at all, as some community notes implied. Decanting necessary.

Mowed grass and green pepper on the nose. Fruit and acidity well balanced. Spice and cedar complements the fruit. Great color and clarity. Not a hint of oxidation on the edge. Short to medium finish. Fruit is slighty muted but plenty of structure to last another 5-7 years.
