(from a blend of grand cru chardonnay and pinot noir) An absolutely sensational nose that is floral, spicy, yeasty and citrusy with exceptionally subtle hints of red berries that can also be found on the wonderfully fresh and still beautifully youthful flavors that are crisp, precise and layered. If there is a nit, the finish is perhaps not quite as long as one might hope for but as this ages and "relaxes", the length will come. A potentially great wine and all it needs is a bit more time in bottle.

It should last for a decade or more.

The fruit is certainly luxuriantly sun-ripened and the wealth of tastes is fantastic, but this is still a young, unfinished wine that must be stored for a very long time in order to peak. Notes of vanilla, winter apples, plum compote, and redcurrants appear at the end—exuding greatness and French bakery smells.

Good, but not impressive. It's still very vivid and somehow dry, it may need a little more time to mellow.

From halfbottle, late degorged to judge from cork. Very, very well balanced at this stage. Acidity still very high, and toasty aromas are perfectly integrated with tropical fruits.
