Ruby-red. Black cherry, currant, loam, tobacco and charry oak on the nose; suggests a deep sweetness. Big, rich, fat and deep; not yet particularly complex but backward and powerfully structured. A very young wine that finishes with ripe tannins and sneaky length.

This is at its peak. The predominant olive tapenade has given way to ripe dark berry and currant fruit. Notes of earth, leather and the aforementioned olive add to the complexity. The tannins are perfectly integrated to give this a round, supple mouthfeel. This wine glides across the palate and rewards with a deliciously lingering finish.
