Ruby-red. Black cherry, currant, loam, tobacco and charry oak on the nose; suggests a deep sweetness. Big, rich, fat and deep; not yet particularly complex but backward and powerfully structured. A very young wine that finishes with ripe tannins and sneaky length.

A classic wine, this dark ruby/purple-colored offering reveals a lead pencil, black currant, and vanillin-scented nose that could easily pass for a classy Medoc. It displays good richness and purity on the entry, medium to full body, outstanding concentration, and exceptional harmony. This is a beauty.
