Complex aromas of lemon, coconut, charry oak and iodine. Expansive and mouthfilling, yet light on its feet. Not especially thick or sweet, but offers lovely texture and subtle intensity. Very long, suave aftertaste. Still very young.

Because of the release program employed by Kistler, the 1995 Chardonnays are now coming on the market. My scores of those wines are as follows: 1995 Chardonnay Kistler Vineyard (94). Readers should recognize that Kistler's policy is to sell most of their production directly to consumers and restaurants.
