Deep ruby-red. Vibrant aromas of blackberry, cassis and cedar. Thick and concentrated, with compelling sweetness buffered by strong extract. Fat and mouthfilling. Notes of nutty oak and vanilla. Finishes with even, tongue-dusting tannins and outstanding grip and persistence. A strong vintage for this wine.

Balanced and delicious, with plenty of blackberry and currant aromas and flavors and just a touch of leafiness. Medium-bodied, with soft tannins and a long, fruity aftertaste. 25,000 cases made.
