A blend of 39% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Merlot, and 30% Cabernet Franc, this dark ruby/purple-colored wine possesses an elegant, graceful bouquet (sweet cherries and kirsch) that has been subtlely influenced by toasty new oak. The medium-bodied, subtle yet rich, red currant/black currant flavors unfold nicely in the mouth. This is an understated, measured, impeccably well-made, claret-styled Cabernet Sauvignon that offers beautiful richness and layers of harmonious flavors. Impressive. Drink it over the next 10-14 years.

Rich, supple and forward, this drinks well now but is worthy of cellaring. The core of currant, anise, cedar, vanilla and spice flavors are smooth and polished, as are the tannins. Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. 500 cases made.
