What a truly beautiful wine. All the essence of mature Barolo - Intense licorice, Roses, Violets, Tar, Leather, black cherries, and hints of burnt orange. Outstanding balance, very fresh with well integrated tannin (med to med+).

Truly at or near it's peak, with clearly some time to spare. Classic, tart cherry, licorice, and hints of violet and truffle on the nose. Palate confirms nose with a hint of leather & animale, moderate plus acidity and elegant, fine, medium tannins. Med to med+ concentration.
