Author: Robert Parker
Although rounder and more supple than the 1993, the 1992 displays tell-tale curranty, menthol, and floral notes in the nose, spicy, rich, medium to full-bodied flavors, and outstanding elegance and finesse.

Well oaked, with strong vanilla and chocolate notes and rich currant and cherry flavors to match. Intriguing, and has the tannins to age through 1997. 2,120 cases made.

spicy with leather and tobacco flavors on top of black cherry and licorice. Mature fruit and still with tannic finish. This wine still has cellar life, although I do not know if it will improve with age or if it is at its peak now.
