Young and tight, as currant, herb, coffee and cedar flavors wrestle with the tannins but emerge on aftertaste. Needs cellaring to soften the rough spots; best in 1999. 8,500 cases made.

Held up really well. Good color, body was medium weight. Clarity was perfect. light fruit, smooth start to finish. Wil not get better but could last another year or so.
