A terrific success in this difficult vintage, Las Cases's forward 1991 is close to full maturity, revealing flattering scents of tobacco, cassis, and toasty oak. Medium-bodied, with excellent concentration and ripeness, it is hard to believe this wine could have come from a vintage such as 1991.

A mouthful of fruit in this full-bodied red, featuring masses of mint, berry and cherry flavors, velvety tannins and long finish. One of the best '91s. Really delicious for the Medoc in an off year.
