Author: Richard Juhlin
Issue: Issue 1
The same style as '88, but even more concentrated and with a greater depth. The character bears resemblance to Krug, Gratien, and Salon. The apple tang is bitingly fresh and the oak character evident. According to many judges, this is one of the best Champagnes Gosset has ever produced. Despite that, this Champagne was one of the weakest at the Millennium Tasting.

Concentrated, assertive fruit flavors define this crisp, well-balanced and youthful-tasting Champagne. The texture is velvety and all the flavor pieces seem to be in place, but it may need time to develop more complexity.
