Backward and structured, though a bit coarse. Brilliant, deep ruby color, with a hint of garnet on the edge. Currant, floral and berry aromas. Big and chewy, with plenty of fruit and tannins.--1982 Bordeaux horizontal.

colour: light garnet. tawny at rim
nose: mature. cherry. dusty oak. nose evolved considerably over time. vanilla and blood.
taste: red fruit with a sour finish. weak in the mid palate. tannins are unresolved at first but mellow after 2 hours in the decanter. very tasty. developed soy and aniseed after time. fine, but drink now as will not improve.
