Wine Spectator Author: Harvey Steiman

Very firm, with ripe plum and currant notes coming through its chewy texture, finishing with woodsy, bitter chocolate overtones. A sturdy wine that keeps threatening to become supple.--Haut-Brion vertical.

From 375ml. Consumed over two nights. At first, mostly tea leaf with some fading fruit but a surprising amount of tannin still left. Much mellower on day two, with mostly tea leaf and mint components, with a hint of mocha. Still has life.
