Golden colour. Enticing butterscotch, walnut, honey and warm brioche scented nose. There's a pleasantly surprising level of spritz left, providing freshness to this rich, evolved style. A very crisp backbone of acid pierces the concentrated nutty, toasty flavours. Very long finish with characteristic chalkiness and a really interesting umami earthiness.

The last vintage in oak barrels. Lighter than many of the old vintages of Dom Perignon I have tasted, with a sensual acacia honey nose and the usual hint of coffee. It dances in the mouth. Almost Blanc de Blancs in style. Long, pure aftertaste.

An incredibly powerful, full-bodied Champagne that needs food to show its best. It lacks a bit of finesse, but it bursts with flavor--from buttery toast and butterscotch to chocolate, orange peel and grapefruit.--Dom Perignon vertical.
