Unusually elegant, even delicate, for Latour, but beautiful nonetheless, with supple, refined flavors of sweet cherries, raisins, tobacco, spices and minerals. A favorite among the tasters.

this bottle has passed its prime. very closed on first pour , but gradually opened up. Did not fall apart over the next 3 hours and the Latour characteristics gradually emerged. Still quite balanced but finish is drying out. had better bottles.
