Wine Spectator Author: Harvey Steiman

Deep, dark and remarkably vibrant, showing layers of black cherry, plum and silky spice flavors. A little chewy, powerful up front and gentle on the finish. Feels like it still can improve.

colour a fine red with not much ageing; some fuits on the nose together with sous-bois; had a delicate fruity flavour which lingered on the palate; surprised everyone by how good it was Garret's notes: Musty earthy nose; old but surprisingly lively; fine robe; plate has dried but elegant with a faint taste of plum.
