Ann Colgin, a former fine art dealer, began her label in 1992, and it quickly became one of the most sought-after names in Napa. Winemaking duties were originally handled by Helen Turley, who seamlessly gave way to her disciple Mark Aubert in 1999. Sweet. Blackberry, boysenberry, sweet green pepper, grilled meat, stupidly smooth. Balance of angels dancing on the head of a pin and totally confident in its pristine balance. Air did nothing to this wine. 2 minute finish.
